IT Audit Manager

About the role

Invesco is seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager to lead technology‑focused audit engagements across its global investment, trading, compliance and finance functions. The role combines risk assessment, audit execution and advisory activities while partnering with business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze risk in assigned audit areas and develop internal audit plans.
• Design and execute audit testing strategies, focusing on internal control design, cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
• Lead audit engagements, supervise staff or contractors, and ensure timely completion.
• Prepare findings, conduct entry/exit meetings and report results to senior management and the board.
• Assess emerging technology risks such as AI, cloud services, API security and data protection.
• Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to apply automation, data analytics and AI‑enabled techniques.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in technology audit, consulting or information security.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Finance; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, CFA, or equivalent.
• Experience in asset management or securities industry is advantageous.

• Network and security technologies: firewalls, networking, API security.
• Frameworks and standards: COBIT, NIST, ISO 27000, OWASP.
