Irrigation Manager

About the role

The Irrigation Manager will join the Agronomy/Golf Course Maintenance team at Atlantic Fields, a new Tom Fazio‑designed golf course near West Palm Beach, Florida. Reporting to the Director of Agronomy, you will oversee all irrigation operations for the course and surrounding landscapes, ensuring optimal performance and member experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot the entire golf course and landscape irrigation systems.
• Supervise a small team of irrigation technicians responsible for system build‑out, ongoing maintenance, and repairs.
• Monitor system performance using the RainBird Cirrus Pro program and adjust settings as needed.
• Repair sprinklers, pipes, and related equipment, keeping all components clean and properly calibrated.
• Manage inventory of irrigation parts and order replacements promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Agronomy.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in golf course irrigation installation, repair, and operation.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and stay focused during busy periods.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts longer than eight hours.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, stand, walk, and lift items up to 50 lb.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
