iOS Software Engineer (Mobile)

About the role

Compass is looking for an iOS engineer to help build a mobile platform that makes the home‑buying and selling experience delightful. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver well‑defined features and contribute to the overall architecture of the app.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship iOS features in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, scope, and prioritize product work.
• Write clean, maintainable code, perform code reviews, and create high‑quality automated tests.
• Integrate with RESTful backend services and ensure operational excellence.
• Document components, service designs, decisions, and runbooks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional iOS development experience shipping apps to the App Store.
• Strong ability to collaborate with product, design, and engineering stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
