iOS Software Engineer – Mobile Apps for Flight Safety

About the role

Beacon AI Inc. is seeking an iOS Software Engineer to join its flight‑safety platform team in San Carlos. You will design and deliver mobile applications that display real‑time flight data, helping pilots operate more safely and efficiently. The role is hybrid, combining on‑site collaboration with remote development.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and ship sophisticated iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI and modern Apple frameworks.
• Integrate real‑time flight telemetry and external APIs into a responsive mobile UI.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and hardware teams to ensure seamless interaction with cockpit systems.
• Maintain high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adoption of async/await patterns.
• Participate in rapid iteration cycles in a high‑ownership, low‑silo environment.

Required profile

• 2 + years of professional iOS development experience.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or Green Card holder) with a strong interest in aviation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced startup setting.
