About the role

As an iOS Software Engineer at Beacon AI Inc., you will build high‑impact mobile applications that support a groundbreaking flight safety platform. Working in a fast‑paced hybrid environment in San Carlos, you’ll develop safety‑critical features using Swift and SwiftUI, integrating real‑time data to help pilots fly more effectively and save lives.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement sophisticated iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, and modern frameworks to support real‑time flight data visualization.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and designers to build high‑performance, user‑friendly mobile interfaces that integrate seamlessly with hardware‑adjacent systems.
• Maintain code quality and system reliability through rigorous testing, code reviews, and modern architectural patterns such as async/await.
• Integrate complex internal and external APIs and ensure robust networking and asynchronous programming.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the mobile codebase and participate in agile development cycles.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong command of Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Proficiency in asynchronous programming, networking, and API integration.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or Green Card holder) with passion for aviation.
• Ability to work on hardware‑integrated software in a safety‑critical environment.
