iOS Software Engineer

About the role

Beacon AI is seeking an iOS Software Engineer to join its mobile team. You will help build high‑impact iOS applications that power a flight‑safety platform, working closely with senior engineers, designers, and product managers on real‑time, safety‑critical features.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern iOS frameworks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to build and maintain reliable, high‑performance mobile applications.
• Integrate internal and external APIs to deliver real‑time data and functionality.
• Work with designers and product managers to create intuitive, user‑friendly experiences.
• Participate in code reviews, follow iOS best practices, and ensure code quality through testing and documentation.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience developing iOS applications or equivalent experience through internships, projects, or coursework.
• Proficiency with Swift and SwiftUI; exposure to UIKit and common iOS frameworks.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming concepts such as async/await, multithreading, or Grand Central Dispatch.
• Basic experience with networking, APIs, and real‑world data sources.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a willingness to learn from feedback and mentorship.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
