Investor Relations Associate

About the role

The Investor Relations Associate will support a high‑visibility, client‑facing function within a leading alternative investment firm. Working closely with investment professionals and senior leadership, the role focuses on investor engagement, fundraising initiatives, and strategic communication across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Support investor relations and capital formation activities across multiple investment strategies.
• Partner with internal teams globally to respond to investor and prospective investor inquiries.
• Assist in coordinating fundraising activity and tracking ongoing initiatives.
• Develop and maintain investor‑facing materials, including presentations and written communications.
• Update due‑diligence materials and other investor resources used throughout fundraising processes.
• Collaborate with investment, finance, and client coverage teams to ensure consistency in messaging and materials.
• Conduct market and investor research to support positioning and communication efforts.
• Prepare updates for senior stakeholders and internal leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, asset management, consulting, commercial banking, or a related financial services role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
• Interest in investor relations, capital markets, and institutional investing.
