Investor Relations Assistant

About the role

The Investor Relations Assistant supports the IR team of a private‑equity real‑estate firm, acting as a primary point of contact for investors, advisors and broker‑dealers. The role offers hands‑on exposure to fund operations, fundraising strategy and investor analytics across multiple real‑estate vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Answer, screen and direct incoming investor inquiries via phone or email in a professional manner.
• Track and update account changes with the transfer agent, including transfers, distribution instructions, beneficiary updates and broker‑dealer transitions.
• Assist in resolving investor questions related to account maintenance.
• Maintain and reconcile comprehensive investor tracking sheets, subscription documents and internal records.
• Ensure accuracy of investor databases and CRM systems.
• Continuously improve reporting processes, tracking methodologies and operational workflows.
• Support IR and sales teams in preparing for conferences, meetings, shareholder communications and fundraising initiatives.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, real‑estate private equity or financial services.
• Understanding of private‑fund structures, capital‑raising mechanics and investor onboarding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., STAR).
