Investment Banking Associate

About the role

Cohen & Company Capital Markets is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join its fast‑growing New York team. The associate will work directly with senior bankers on a variety of capital‑raising transactions, including IPOs, follow‑on offerings, private placements, and SPAC‑related deals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to multiple live transactions from origination through closing.
• Prepare and deliver pitch books, financial models, and valuation analyses.
• Coordinate due‑diligence processes and manage day‑to‑day execution tasks.
• Collaborate with small deal teams and interact with senior client executives.
• Support strategic advisory, capital markets, and merchant‑banking services across emerging sectors.

Required profile

• Prior experience as an investment banking associate or equivalent.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
