Investment Banking Analyst – Leverage Finance

About the role

UBS is seeking a motivated Investment Banking Analyst to join its Leverage Finance team in New York. You will work on pitch books, financial models, and credit assessments to support client transactions and drive innovative financing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop pitch‑book presentations that explain industry trends, discuss client options and recommend strategies.
• Generate new ideas and creative approaches to advance the business.
• Identify client needs and coordinate with colleagues and investors.
• Create and analyze financial models for financing transactions.
• Assess credit risk as the first line of defense and prepare materials for the credit committee.
• Assist in syndicating underwritten financing to investors.
• Support the development of junior investment bankers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical and inventive thinking.
• Ability to produce accurate presentation material quickly.
• Capacity to partner with other groups across the bank.
