Investment Banking Analyst – Capital Markets

About the role

Cohen & Company Capital Markets is seeking a motivated Analyst to join its Capital Markets team in New York. The Analyst will work directly with senior bankers on a variety of capital‑raising transactions, gaining exposure to IPOs, follow‑on offerings, private placements, and SPAC‑related deals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of capital markets transactions from origination through closing.
• Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, and pitch materials.
• Draft and review offering memoranda, investor presentations, and other transaction documents.
• Coordinate due‑diligence processes and liaise with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors.
• Support senior bankers in structuring deals and advising on transaction strategy.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or 0‑2 years of experience with a strong academic record.
• Demonstrated interest in investment banking and capital markets.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
