Investment Accountant

About the role

The Investment Accountant will support Greystar’s real‑estate investment funds by handling financial reporting, cash management, capital transactions, and audit processes. This role works closely with fund managers, investors, and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely accounting deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Compile investor, lender, and compliance reporting packages, including ad‑hoc requests.
• Manage day‑to‑day cash activities for assigned funds, including bank reconciliations, Yardi entries, foreign‑exchange transactions, cash forecasting, and intercompany bill‑backs.
• Assist with capital contribution and distribution calculations and documentation.
• Coordinate annual audit activities, prepare PBC lists, upload documents, and produce audited financial statements.
• Maintain general ledgers and journal entries in Yardi, generate analytical reports, and utilize the Investment Management module for cash tracking.
