Interventional Radiologist (Physician)

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Radiologist to join its 100% Interventional Radiology practice in the Greater New Orleans region. The position offers a collegial, patient‑focused environment with a broad case mix and opportunities for subspecialty growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive interventional radiology services, including liver‑directed therapies, GU and lung interventions.
• Participate in expanding clinical programs such as venous disease, women’s health, and endocrine interventions.
• Maintain a dedicated IR clinic to support longitudinal outpatient care.
• Perform procedures that support multiple service lines across the health system.
• Engage in academic activities with potential appointments through Xavier Ochsner College of Medicine.
• Adhere to a night‑float call system designed to promote work‑life balance.
• Utilize advanced imaging equipment, modern PACS, and dictation systems.
• Collaborate with a supportive team, contributing to both newly trained and experienced physician development.
