Interventional Radiologist (Physician) – Full-time

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Interventional Radiologist to join a 100% IR practice in the Greater New Orleans region. The position offers a collegial, patient‑focused environment with opportunities for subspecialty growth and academic involvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of interventional radiology procedures across multiple service lines, including interventional oncology, liver‑directed, GU and lung interventions.
• Provide longitudinal patient care through a dedicated IR clinic and support outpatient practice development.
• Participate in a night‑float call system that balances work‑life needs, with protected post‑call mornings.
• Collaborate with multi‑specialty teams and contribute to academic activities through Xavier Ochsner College of Medicine.

Required profile

• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Interventional Radiology.
• Experience with interventional oncology and a diverse case mix, including venous disease, women’s health, and endocrine interventions.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules such as 7‑on/7‑off, staggered weeks, or part‑time arrangements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in performing interventional radiology procedures.
• Use of advanced imaging equipment and modern PACS.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system.
