About the role
The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is offering a 10‑week summer internship in its Supervision and Risk Management (SRM) division. Interns will work on real‑world projects that support the Bank’s mission to maintain confidence in the nation’s financial system.
Key responsibilities
- Assist on bank examinations by conducting financial analysis and reviewing compliance with laws and regulations.
- Prepare qualitative presentations and written reports for senior management.
- Evaluate statutory factors for bank applications and recommend process improvements.
- Support continuous‑improvement initiatives for internal websites and automated tools.
Required profile
- Undergraduate students graduating between May 2027 – May 2028 or current graduate students.
- Major in finance, accounting, economics, or a related business field.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem‑solving, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
