Internship - Application Developer & BI Specialist

About the Position

Join Boardwalk, a leader in the natural gas transportation and storage sector, for an immersive technical internship. As an Application Developer Intern, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between complex business needs and innovative technological solutions, specifically focusing on Business Intelligence (BI) and system support.

Main Missions

• Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging trends in BI and modern software technologies.
• Develop hardware, software, and procedural solutions tailored to specific business requirements (Commercial, Operational, Financial, Legal).
• Collaborate closely with business users and IT teams to identify and implement digital transformation opportunities.
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, execution, testing, and deployment.
• Design, develop, and maintain BI reports and interactive dashboards to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Perform application testing and deployment following system updates or database patches.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base by documenting application support incidents and resolutions.

Profile We Are Looking For

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to learning new technologies and documenting processes.
• Attention to detail regarding compliance and deliverable quality.
