International Logistics & Contract Manager

About the role

Global Ordnance is seeking an International Logistics & Contract Manager to lead the end‑to‑end movement of defense products and services worldwide. You will act as the primary liaison between suppliers, customers, and government agencies, ensuring seamless logistics operations that comply with all contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Govern the sourcing, planning, and execution of global logistics for defense goods.
• Coordinate with the U.S. Department of Defense and other international defense organizations on contract compliance.
• Develop procurement processes, negotiate purchase orders, and manage contractual documentation.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks affecting contract performance within the supply base.
• Conduct due‑diligence, qualification, and licensing verification for all vendors and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with program management and contracts teams to ensure proper flow‑down of requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international logistics, preferably within the defense or aerospace sector.
• Strong understanding of U.S. and allied defense contracting regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Excellent analytical and risk‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with government agencies and multinational partners.

Required skills

• Knowledge of international export/import compliance.
• Experience with contract negotiation and legal provisions.
• Proficiency in logistics planning and supply‑chain coordination.
