International Logistics Analyst

About the role

The International Logistics Analyst will serve as a key resource for POOLCORP’s global transportation network, using strong analytical abilities to ensure efficient import and export operations while controlling costs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze routing alternatives to determine the most cost‑effective paths for internal and external customers.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of all import and export shipments.
• Identify operational problems and propose practical solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships with international carriers, negotiate freight forwarder contracts, and oversee pricing strategies.
• Monitor 3PL performance to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Validate documentation entry, compile reports from multiple systems, and ensure data accuracy.
• Audit freight payments, resolve discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Collect operational data to measure effectiveness, improve processes, and optimize expenses.
• Prepare detailed analytical reports and present findings to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on cost efficiency.
• Experience in domestic and international transportation management and trade operations.
• Proven ability to manage vendor partnerships and negotiate contracts.
• Familiarity with 3PL monitoring and freight payment auditing.
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
