International Associate Buyer – APAC

About the role

The International Associate Buyer will support the Sr. International Buyer in driving growth across ALO’s international markets, with a focus on the APAC region. You will act as the primary point of contact for buying‑related queries, analyze country‑level performance, and help shape pricing and assortment strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly, quarterly and ad‑hoc reports for the international division.
• Track inventory per country and monitor store levels.
• Assist in setting up seasonal pricing files and developing country‑specific pricing strategies.
• Partner with the Sr. Buyer and Planning team to execute buys, owning the buy for a specific country or division.
• Maintain seasonal assortment data in Anaplan.
• Attend meetings and advocate for international needs based on trend and sales data.
• Analyze in‑season and post‑season sales to inform future strategies and assortments.
• Communicate business requirements with cross‑functional partners including Planning, Allocations, Merchandising, Marketing, and Production.
• Manage purchase order tracking, warehouse ETAs, and advise on launch date risks.
• Present sales analysis to leadership to guide strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or planning.
• Knowledge of European and Asian markets is a plus.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong prioritization, project‑management, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented team player who can also work independently.
