Internal Communications Specialist

About the role

The Golden State Warriors are seeking an Internal Communications Specialist to lead and coordinate all employee‑focused messaging across the organization. You will partner with People Operations, Corporate Communications, IT, and Arena Operations to design and deliver strategic communications that reinforce the brand and enhance the employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications plans for corporate initiatives, organizational changes, and employee programs.
• Manage daily communications requests and ensure timely distribution via Slack, Outlook, intranet and other channels.
• Create and edit newsletters, calendars, intranet copy, and LinkedIn posts.
• Support town‑hall events, speaker series, and internal speaking opportunities.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Workplace Experience to promote the employment brand.
• Assist in training staff on presentation and public‑speaking skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Relations or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of public relations or media relations experience, with a focus on internal communications.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and discretion with confidential information.
