Internal Audit Specialist - Bilingual

About the role

Nissin RHQ‑Americas is looking for a bilingual (English‑Spanish) Internal Audit Specialist to support audit activities across the Americas region, including the U.S., Mexico, and Brazil. The role provides independent assurance and advisory services to improve governance, risk management, internal controls, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audit engagements across finance, operations, compliance, and IT processes.
• Design audit procedures and testing approaches based on the annual audit plan and identified risks.
• Obtain and analyze evidence through data review, documentation, and stakeholder interviews.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and governance frameworks.
• Identify control gaps, operational inefficiencies, and compliance risks; recommend practical, value‑added solutions.
• Prepare clear audit reports and communicate findings in English and Spanish.
• Monitor remediation plans and ensure timely, sustainable issue resolution.
• Coordinate with SOX teams and headquarters internal audit to align approaches and findings.
• Participate in special audits, investigations, and ad‑hoc risk projects.
• Utilize data analytics to support audit planning, testing, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in internal audit, accounting, public accounting, or related areas.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required).

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and SOX compliance.
• Ability to design audit procedures and perform data‑analytics‑driven testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Spanish.
