Intern - Supplier Development & Performance Management (Future Talent Program 2027)

About the role

The 2027 Future Talent Program offers internships lasting up to 12 weeks, including one or more projects, within the Global Support Functions Division. The Supplier Development and Performance Management function manages the performance of hundreds of suppliers of components, materials and services that are essential to manufacturing medicines and vaccines. The internship allows you to work hands-on on supplier manufacturing and business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct root cause investigations and implement Corrective Actions / Preventive Actions for supplier issues
• Travel to supplier sites and company sites in the region to resolve and prevent manufacturing, quality, technical and supply issues
• Assist in Technical Capability Assessments (TCAs) for new and existing suppliers and provide supplier up-skilling
• Support supplier risk mitigation plans, including on-site support, to ensure launch readiness and routine production
• Perform gap analysis between specifications, methods and equipment at suppliers and company sites (e.g. Measurement System Analysis)
• Set requirements and give feedback on new systems or system enhancements
• Work with critical suppliers to solve delivery issues and component shortages

Required profile

• Pursuing B.S. degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or another science
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in the NJ/PA area during the summer months

Required skills

Salary range: $39,908 - $111,111. The position is fixed-term (intern/co-op), with no relocation, visa sponsorship or travel required.
