Intern, Global Accounting - Corporate Consolidations

About the role

This internship supports the Global Accounting team in corporate consolidations, providing hands‑on experience with month‑end close, journal entries, and financial analysis. You will work on real projects and collaborate across finance functions while developing a solid foundation in U.S. GAAP accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Draft journal entries in SAP and OneStream with appropriate support.
• Analyze intercompany transactions and prepare related journal entries.
• Prepare monthly balance‑sheet account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial statement trends and explain month‑over‑month variances.
• Support ad‑hoc projects and participate in team and status meetings.
• Collaborate with Technical Accounting, Fixed Assets, FP&A, and other cross‑functional teams.
• Take part in internship program events such as senior‑leader meetings, goal‑setting sessions, and an Action Learning Project.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an Accounting or Finance bachelor’s or graduate program, preferably senior year.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Understanding of basic accounting and finance concepts, including U.S. GAAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
