Inter-City Fleet Driver (Part-Time)

About the role

Avis Budget Group is hiring immediately for an Inter-City Fleet Driver (part-time) at its Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport location. The driver moves rental vehicles between locations so customers can get on the road without delay. Pay is $8.50 per hour, with shift premium possibly applying.

Key responsibilities

• Drive rental vehicles between locations, including to and from rental sites, maintenance facilities and other designated lots, according to operational needs.
• Transport vehicles safely and efficiently so they are available where they are needed most.
• Follow established driving standards and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Valid driver's license.
• Flexibility to work all shifts; the position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be done remotely.
• Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles in all weather conditions.
• Able to enter and exit vehicles frequently, sit for long periods, stand up and stay active during a shift.
• Must be 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
