Intensive Services Coordinator – JVSG

About the role

The Technical College System of Georgia is seeking an Intensive Services Coordinator for the Georgia Jobs for Veterans State Grant (JVSG) program. In this full‑time position you will act as the statewide liaison, coordinating intensive services for veterans, eligible spouses and other qualified participants to improve employment outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the statewide liaison for the JVSG program, coordinating with federal, state and community partners.
• Establish and manage referral pathways between JVSG and agencies such as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment program.
• Receive, review and assign referrals of eligible veterans and spouses to Disabled Veterans’ Outreach Program specialists.
• Provide technical assistance, guidance and training to JVSG staff and partner organizations on eligibility, referral procedures and intensive services.
• Monitor participant progress, maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Develop relationships with employers, educational institutions and veteran service organizations to expand employment opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• At least two years of experience delivering case‑management services to special‑needs populations or in a similar employment‑services role.
• Experience working with workforce development, vocational rehabilitation or veteran‑serving organizations.
• Veteran status is preferred; DD‑214 documentation required.
