Integration Platform Architect

About the role

Georgia-Pacific’s Software Engineering & Integration team is looking for an Integration Platform Architect to join the Atlanta office. In this hybrid position you will work across multiple business and technology groups to design and deliver integration solutions that support the company’s diverse business segments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, govern, and evolve enterprise‑wide integration architecture ensuring scalability, security, reusability, and alignment with standards.
• Partner with business analysts, product managers, domain architects and functional leads to select appropriate integration platforms and patterns for each use case.
• Review existing integration designs, identify gaps, technical debt and risks, and propose redesigns where needed.
• Own technical decision‑making for application and B2B (EDI) integration, guiding teams through complex issues and removing blockers.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, database, and business teams to support the end‑to‑end software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience translating enterprise integration strategy into actionable technical direction.
• Ability to simplify platforms, enable AI adoption and align EDI, API and event‑driven integrations with long‑term architecture.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
