Integration and Development Manager

About the role

The State of Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology is seeking a seasoned leader to serve as Integration and Development Manager for the Department of Early Childhood. You will join the DoIT/IDEC IT leadership team and be responsible for modernizing cloud‑based workflow automation and secure data integration across multiple systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation and configuration of applications, cloud integrations, and workflow automation solutions.
• Design and maintain secure API data pipelines and integration logic to enable seamless communication between disparate systems.
• Provide technical oversight to vendor development teams while also performing hands‑on scripting, configuration, and orchestration of advanced interfaces.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a development leader managing complex integration projects.
• Strong ability to balance strategic oversight with detailed technical execution.
