Integrated Behavioral Health Therapist

About the role

The Integrated Behavioral Health Therapist joins Rockbridge Area Health Center’s collaborative primary‑care team to deliver mental health services to patients aged five and older. This full‑time, onsite position offers the chance to practice within a supportive, interdisciplinary environment in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group mental health counseling and behavioral health therapy.
• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Address substance‑use concerns and deliver ongoing therapy.
• Perform crisis intervention when needed.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and care teams in an integrated care model.

Required profile

• Licensed in Virginia as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• Eligible for FTCA privileging.
• Current BLS certification.
