Intake Attorney

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Intake Attorney to serve as the first point of contact for our VIP referral‑source clients. This client‑facing, phone‑forward position introduces callers to our firm, explains our services in plain language, and ensures a smooth hand‑off to the case‑management team.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from referral‑source clients promptly and professionally.
• Conduct brief, friendly intake calls (typically under ten minutes), introducing the firm and outlining next steps.
• Confirm client understanding and willingness to proceed before the firm countersigns a digital agreement.
• Provide attorney‑level judgment to the intake team on questions that arise during calls.
• Transfer new matters cleanly to the intake, case‑management, and handling attorney teams.
• Maintain warmth, empathy, and professionalism throughout each interaction.

Required profile

• Active law license in good standing in any U.S. state.
• Resides within commuting distance of the Metairie, LA office.
• Excellent phone presence and people skills; ability to think quickly and respond empathetically.
• Willingness to work onsite for the first 90 days, with hybrid options thereafter.
