Instructional Student Assistant – Electrical & Computer Engineering

About the role

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Fresno State is hiring Instructional Student Assistants (ISA) to support faculty in delivering course content. This part‑time, temporary role offers flexible hours (up to 20 hours per week) across the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the assigned instructor by grading assignments, exams, and lab reports for undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Maintain accurate student records, including grade entry and submission.
• Provide additional support to the department chair and faculty as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Senior undergraduate students in a Bachelor’s program or admitted master’s students in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Prior experience grading at the undergraduate or graduate level.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse campus community.

Required skills
