Instructional Coordinator

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking an Instructional Coordinator to support day and evening programs on campus. Reporting to the divisional Academic Dean, you will serve as the primary point of contact for adjunct faculty and assist students, staff, and visitors with a professional, service‑focused approach.

Key responsibilities

• Act as administrator on duty during evening hours, providing assistance to students, faculty, and the public.
• Support student advisement, registration, retention, and recruitment processes.
• Coordinate recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of adjunct faculty in partnership with Human Resources.
• Maintain faculty qualification records and manage course schedule entry each term.
• Prepare teaching materials, conduct orientations, and provide training on Blackboard Ultra and Banner Web.
• Enter new adjunct faculty into the Banner system and process related paperwork.
• Monitor compliance with the Affordable Care Act and other regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in higher‑education administration or support services.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
