Instore Warehouse Associate

About the role

1915 South, the furniture retailer, is hiring an Instore Warehouse Associate in its Dothan location. The associate handles the flow of goods between the sales floor and customers, works with the Visual Lead and Manager to prepare the store floor for incoming merchandise, and keeps the warehouse tidy. Candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Key responsibilities

• Remove sold products from the sales floor, wrap and store them for customer delivery, or load them into a customer's vehicle for pickup
• Coordinate with the Visual Lead and Manager to prep the store floor for incoming merchandise
• Repair floor samples
• Organize and maintain the warehouse, including general housekeeping and keeping cardboard trailers and dumpsters clean
• Perform building maintenance and simple repairs
• Carry out other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of warehouse functions
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player
• Commitment to getting the job done
• Able to lift over 75 pounds and 150 pounds with assistance
• Must pass a drug test and background check
