Installation Technician

About the role

Join AT&T as an Installation Technician, installing fiber and voice services in customers' homes and businesses across Hendersonville and surrounding areas. You will work independently, delivering high‑speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice solutions while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Install, activate, and test fiber and voice equipment inside and outside customer premises.
• Lift and move equipment up to 80 lb, work in confined spaces or up to 28 ft aloft, and identify wire and cable colors.
• Maintain a customer‑centric mindset, communicate effectively, and resolve installation issues on the spot.

Required profile

• Tech‑savvy with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, overtime, and holiday call‑outs.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to lift 60 lb safely.

Required skills

• Fiber and voice service installation.
• Basic wiring and cable identification.
• Ladder safety and confined‑space work.

• Hourly wage ranging from $17.25 to $31.00 (average annual earnings about $35,906).
