Inside Sales Representative

About the role

Ryan Herco Flow Solutions, a SunSource company, is a leading distributor of fluid control, filtration, handling products and industrial supplies. They are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to provide excellent customer service, manage orders and support the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by answering incoming calls, solving problems, entering orders and completing follow‑up procedures.
• Turn product inquiries into orders, suggesting accessories or replacement items to maximize phone contact.
• Write bids and quotations when appropriate and perform follow‑up procedures.
• Document all customer contacts and sales activities in the ACS system.
• Communicate with Outside Sales to ensure excellent account management for new and existing customers.
• Support Outside Sales in implementing the sales and marketing plan.
• Keep current on Ryan Herco Flow Solutions products and attend product and sales training meetings as required.
• Update and maintain the customer database.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of proven sales and/or customer service experience.
• Ability to address customer concerns with empathy and guide them toward commitment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work productively with a wide range of people.
• Organized, detail‑oriented and a fast learner with the ability to grasp new concepts.
• Persuasive, amiable, self‑motivated and goal‑oriented.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel) and able to type at least 40 WPM.
