About the role

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its inpatient gastroenterology team in Tyler, Texas. The role works within a physician‑led organization, providing direct patient care for gastrointestinal conditions while leveraging AI‑enabled documentation tools.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient GI care under physician supervision.
• Document patient encounters using the Abridge AI documentation platform.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across 41 specialties.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.

Required profile

• Current Texas licensure as an NP or PA, or eligibility for licensure.
• Demonstrated experience in gastroenterology clinical practice.
