About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Quality Engineer to build and lead the quality function for a fast‑growing electronics manufacturing startup in Atlanta. You will shape processes from day one, work closely with suppliers and customers, and grow into a leadership position as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute Quality Management System (QMS) activities.
• Manage supplier quality and support development initiatives.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer‑related quality issues.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and drive manufacturing process improvements.
• Oversee metrology, measurement system controls, and root‑cause investigations.
• Coordinate internal, customer, and third‑party audits.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures, standards, and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Proven experience in electronics manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) processes.
• Hands‑on mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.
• Leadership potential and desire to grow into a management role.
