Infrastructure/Network Lead

About the role

CACI's National Mission Systems (NMS) group is seeking an Infrastructure Lead to support mission-critical environments with secure, reliable and scalable infrastructure across cloud and bare-metal systems. The role sits at the heart of a secure, resilient ground infrastructure housing mission-critical space-based applications, shaping how national security missions run from space to ground. The position is onsite at a CACI facility in Sterling, VA, with up to 10% local travel, and requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplined infrastructure team of about 15 engineers.
• Ensure optimal performance, scalability and security of services.
• Develop and maintain governance policies and best practices.
• Provide escalation support and communicate incident status to management and customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external service providers and customers.
• Ensure compliance with government IT and security policies, including cross-security-domain requirements.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, network architecture and development environments.
• Proven Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with information security and compliance with government policies.
• CISSP or Security+ certification (or comparable information security certification).

Required skills

• Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Automated infrastructure configuration management
• Cloud platforms and strong knowledge of network protocols and security (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls)
• CI/CD tools and version control (Git)
• Desired: full systems lifecycle experience and DevOps processes and tools
