Information Security Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our fast‑growing security team in Uptown Dallas. You will serve as the first line of defense in a 24x7 environment, handling alerts, investigations, and incident response while working with cutting‑edge AI‑integrated security tools.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM, EDR, cloud, and email security platforms.
• Investigate potential incidents, including phishing emails and suspicious activity.
• Use AI‑assisted tools to improve threat detection, triage, and investigation efficiency.
• Respond to endpoint alerts, contain threats, and document incidents thoroughly.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to correlate threat data and validate alerts.
• Support vulnerability management and risk assessments.
• Assist in implementing security policies aligned with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and ISO 9001.
• Participate in incident response efforts and continuous security improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of technical security experience, including at least 2 years in a security operations role.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms.
• Hands‑on experience investigating alerts, phishing emails, and handling incidents under pressure.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GIAC, or Security+ are preferred.

Required skills

• SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Rapid7 InsightIDR).
• EDR/XDR solutions (CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne).
• Security controls: email security, web proxies, DLP, MFA, VPN, zero‑trust architectures.
• Cloud security experience with Azure and AWS.
• Query languages: KQL, SPL.
• Scripting: Python, PowerShell.
• AI‑assisted security tools for threat detection and triage.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ISO 9001 standards.
