Information Security Administrator

About the role

As an Information Security Administrator at Pure Fishing, you will protect the company’s systems, data and people. Working from our Columbia, SC office, you will collaborate with IT, engineering, legal and business teams to identify risks, implement security solutions and support the safe use of emerging technologies such as AI.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, remediate and validate security vulnerabilities across on‑premise systems, cloud platforms and applications.
• Manage and optimise security tools including EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, MFA and DLP.
• Monitor alerts and logs, investigate suspicious activity and assist incident response.
• Implement security controls, system hardening and least‑privilege access practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and partner with stakeholders to execute remediation plans.
• Support Identity & Access Management processes, including user access reviews.
• Ensure timely patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Collaborate with AI and data teams to secure AI development and evaluate privacy risks.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards and procedures.
• Support audits, compliance activities and third‑party risk assessments.
• Promote security awareness and best practices across the organisation.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in Information Security, IT Security or a related field.
• Proven ability to work independently and across multiple functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
