Information Officer

About the role

The Information Officer supports the Office of Undergraduate Admissions by creating a welcoming and efficient public‑relations environment for thousands of prospective students, families, and campus visitors each year.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the flow of up to 60,000 annual visitors, coordinating campus tours and information sessions.
• Serve as the first point of contact for callers, email inquiries, and walk‑ins, providing accurate admissions information and policy guidance.
• Collaborate with admissions officers, operations staff, and alumni relations to ensure seamless visitor experiences.
• Handle sensitive or complex inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
• Accurately record and code information from phone calls and campus visits.
• Assist with special projects and occasional weekend duties as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in college admissions or related educational environment highly desired.
• Strong awareness of campus events and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage high‑volume interactions.
