Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the role

Interco is seeking a proactive Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform general facility maintenance and repairs across its campus. You will be responsible for keeping both interior and exterior building elements, as well as production equipment, in optimal condition.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building interiors, exteriors, fixtures, appliances, and equipment.
• Set up, install, and repair production machinery and plant equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools, electric meters, and material‑handling equipment safely.
• Inspect ladders, dock doors, dock lights, dock plates, and personnel door access for safety compliance.
• Identify faulty equipment, troubleshoot issues, and execute repairs.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and complete additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• Self‑starter capable of working independently and within a team.
• Understanding of equipment drawings, technical manuals, blueprints, wiring schematics, and engineering specifications.
• Minimum two years of maintenance and repair experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience with 460 V 3‑phase electric service and general mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
• Proficiency in welding and fabrication.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school coursework or related education is a plus.
• Attention to detail, good attendance record, and ability to use PC‑based software.
