Industrial Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift (Weekly Pay + Sign‑In Bonus)

About the role

You will be responsible for assessing, fixing, and repairing manufacturing and facilities equipment at our Gibsonton, FL plant. The role combines hands‑on troubleshooting with parts procurement and coordination of contractor support, all while maintaining a strong safety focus.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reactive, preventative, proactive, project and setup maintenance activities on electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Document all work in the plant’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and assist teammates in its use.
• Train, coach and mentor fellow technicians on safe work practices, equipment theory and repair procedures.
• Communicate effectively with associates across departments and coordinate maintenance resources to support production.
• Assist the Manager or Supervisor with additional duties as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (associate degree, trade school certificate or military technical training preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience working with electro‑mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Ability to stand 5‑8 hours per day, work on raised surfaces and climb ladders.

Required skills

• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and use of multimeters, megger testers, and other test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and prints.
• Experience with PLC programming, robotics and vacuum systems (a plus).
• Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in hand tools, machine tools and basic shop machinery (presses, grinders, lathes, mills).
• Capability to read mechanical drawings and operate CMMS for maintenance documentation.
