About the role
Industrial Engineers on the Global Repair Factory Operations PMO team optimize manufacturing processes, improve cycle times, and ensure safe, efficient production across worldwide repair centers. This entry‑level position supports process improvement, plant layout design, and new product introductions in a cleanroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes using methods engineering, time & motion studies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead IE projects from evaluation through implementation, including cost analysis, ROI assessment, and performance tracking.
- Design and optimize plant layouts—including cleanroom spaces, production bays, material staging, and handling systems—to improve space utilization and workflow.
- Support new product introduction by defining manufacturing line design, material flow, tooling, and production setup.
- Conduct ergonomics and human factors assessments to ensure safe and effective work environments.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or a related field (GPA ≥ 3.0 preferred).
- Experience in manufacturing environments; cleanroom experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Required skills
- Process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or equivalent.
- Plant layout and simulation tools (AutoCAD, FlexSim, Arena, or similar).
- Data analysis tools (Excel or similar).
- Capacity modeling and ROI/cost analysis.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle systems (a plus).
