Industrial Electrician – 2nd Shift

About the role

Join Bosch’s manufacturing team in Grand Rapids as an Industrial Electrician on the 2nd shift. You will be responsible for maintaining high‑ and low‑voltage electrical systems that keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, adjust, repair, construct, assemble, calibrate, install and maintain electrical and electronic circuitry and equipment.
• Service, test, and replace devices used in electronic circuits.
• Interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams and sketches to plan job layouts.
• Use hand tools, electrical testing devices and precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain compliance with Industrial Electronics standards and National Electrical Codes.
• Coordinate with suppliers for parts, repairs and improvements.
• Support other maintenance team members and act as a resource for production and engineering staff.
• Complete paperwork, preventative‑maintenance records and keep the work area clean and safe.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience as an electrician in an industrial setting.
• Ability to obtain a UAW Journey Card.
• Preferred completion of a 4‑year apprenticeship certified by the U.S. Dept. of Labor and Master Electrician certification.

Required skills

• Industrial Electronics knowledge.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Proficiency with electrical testing and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read blueprints and circuit diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools and material‑handling equipment.
