Individual Giving Officer

About the role

The Individual Giving Officer will launch and grow Asian Law Caucus’s individual giving program, supporting the organization’s mission and long‑term sustainability. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this new position will shape strategy, systems, and donor engagement across the Bay Area, statewide, and nationally.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive individual giving strategy aligned with ALC’s goals.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing donors, alumni, and board members.
• Identify, cultivate, and solicit new individual donors beyond the Bay Area.
• Collaborate with program staff, leadership, and the board to connect supporters to ALC’s impact.
• Manage donor data, stewardship activities, and reporting on fundraising performance.
• Participate in regular meetings, retreats, and travel as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising or development, preferably with individual donors.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute fundraising plans.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and traveling as needed.
