Independent Review Nurse (Part-time, Remote)

About the role

iMPROve Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its team as an Independent Review Nurse. This part‑time, fully remote role involves conducting independent clinical reviews that support medical management, utilization review, external review, and quality review programs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent clinical reviews supporting medical management, utilization review, external review, quality review, and other healthcare review programs.
• Analyze medical records and documentation to make evidence‑based determinations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements and meet contractual turnaround times.
• Document findings clearly and maintain accurate review logs.
• Collaborate remotely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and consultants.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
• Proven experience in clinical review, utilization review, or related medical management functions.
• Strong analytical and clinical judgment skills with ability to work independently.
• Excellent time‑management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced remote environment.
• Availability to work 20 hours per week during standard business hours (Eastern Time) and occasional after‑hours as needed.
