Independent Bath Installer (1099)

About the role

As an independent 1099 Bath Installer you will join Mad City Windows, a Renuity company, to deliver high‑quality bathroom remodels across the Grand Rapids area. You will work directly with homeowners, following company standards to ensure each project is completed on time and to the highest level of craftsmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Install residential showers, tubs, acrylic and stone panels according to specifications.
• Set drains, install valves, and apply finish work as required.
• Communicate with management after each installation to confirm customer satisfaction and authorize final payments.
• Complete a detailed job checklist with the homeowner at project completion.
• Maintain respect for the homeowner’s property and adhere to safety protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in remodeling, carpentry, or construction.
• Proven experience installing residential showers and tubs, including acrylic and stone panels.
• Established LLC or business operating under an EIN.
• General liability and workers’ compensation insurance.
• Own a cargo van, box truck, shuttle, or a vehicle capable of pulling a trailer.
