Income Tax Senior Specialist

About the role

The Income Tax Senior Specialist will lead the tax compliance and reporting process for all Porsche North American entities. You will work closely with finance, accounting, and business units to ensure accurate tax filings, support audits, and contribute to tax planning initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file U.S. Federal and state corporate (1120) returns, partnership (1065) returns, LLC returns, and Canadian federal/provincial returns.
• Calculate tax depreciation, file estimated tax payments, and handle miscellaneous tax filings.
• Assist with tax audit notices, resolve discrepancies, and support audit processes.
• Reconcile tax general ledger accounts, support 1099 reporting, and manage fringe‑benefit calculations.
• Research tax issues, document findings, and provide analysis of new tax legislation.
• Maintain internal tax controls and update process documentation.
• Prepare quarterly and annual IAS 12 calculations and reconcile deferred tax balances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA preferred, MST or JD a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of income‑tax experience in a top‑tier public accounting firm or large corporate tax department.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.
• Experience using tax research software and fixed‑asset software.
• Familiarity with OneSource and SAP (preferred).
