In House Maintenance Technician – Industrial Maintenance

About the role

In House Maintenance Technicians are experts in building systems and industrial equipment, including three‑phase AC/DC power circuits that power warehouses. They interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals to keep facilities running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Repair, adjust, and install industrial machines and devices.
• Perform plumbing, carpentry, welding (ARC, MIG, GAS) and cutting tasks.
• Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log and process repairs.
• Maintain and supply hand tools required for daily duties.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• At least 20 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended periods.
• Physical ability to lift 40 lb and perform stooping, crouching, kneeling, climbing, etc.
• Pass required aptitude tests (computation, written directions, space visualization, mechanical).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and self‑motivation.

Required skills

• Three‑phase AC/DC power circuit knowledge.
• Proficiency with CMMS.
• Plumbing, carpentry, and ARC/MIG/GAS welding.
• Blueprint and schematic reading.
• Mechanical diagnostic knowledge of powered industrial equipment.
• Hydraulic system familiarity.
• Understanding of D.C. voltage circuits and electrical (A.C. and D.C.) theory.
