In-House Attorney – Remote (Pacific Time Zone)

About the role

We are looking for a driven deal attorney to join our legal team at Crosby A.I., a fast‑growing legaltech startup. The role is fully remote within the U.S. Pacific Time Zone and focuses on using our proprietary AI tools to negotiate and close commercial agreements for high‑growth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end commercial transactions, including M&A, equity, financing, and technology agreements.
• Utilize Crosby’s AI‑powered contract automation platform to draft, review, and finalize agreements efficiently.
• Maintain direct client contact, manage a book of business, and ensure high‑quality deliverables without billable‑hour pressure.
• Collaborate with a lean team of senior commercial attorneys and provide mentorship as the legal team expands.

Required profile

• J.D. or LL.M. from a top‑20 law school and admission to a U.S. bar.
• 2–7 years of transactional experience in BigLaw (M&A, ECVC, finance, tech transactions, or general corporate).
• Strong commercial mindset, attention to detail, and ability to own client relationships independently.

Required skills

• Transactional drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements.
• Proficiency with AI‑driven contract tools (experience with proprietary platforms is a plus).
